A Swinging Sixties Inspired Christmas

Visit the Arthur Findlay College dressed for a colourful Christmas & re-kindle the magic of a bygone era. Ease yourself into Christmas with a pre festive break in the magical & adorable surroundings of the Arthur Findlay College.

The 1960’s was a decade to be celebrated, Christmases of the 60’s era were lively, fun gatherings and the swinging sixties made this iconic decade defining for Great Britain  filled with freedom, hope and promise for a better future. This year’s Christmas week will be no exception!

Get ready for fun and plenty of it. But, there is always time to relax as well as concentrate and indulge in all the usual activities that you are accustomed to enjoying on any College week.

Log fires & festive charm. Enjoy spiritualist experimentation’s & workshops, colourful art workshops and more.

Traditional activities will be fun and will include Craft Making, Lectures, Workshops, Spiritual Experimentation’s, Trance, Psychic Art Demonstrations, Meditation, Murder Mystery, Entertainment, Dancing, and a 1960’s gala dinner with dancing to the firm favourite tunes of the era. Dressing up for the gala dinner finale in 1960’s costume is actively encouraged!

The Course Organiser is Tanya Smith, the General Manager of the College.

Tanya takes all her favourite subjects mixed with old fashioned methods to make up fun interactive sessions.

The week is designed to ensure you relax after a busy year, indulge in the magic and healing energies of the Hall, and recharge your batteries ready for the New Year.

As well as Lynn and Jan who are regular tutors during the College Christmas week, joining the festive trio this year are; Suzanne Gibson-Foy and David Schiesser.

Being at Stansted Hall for Christmas Week is not like any other College Week. Tanya wants you to enjoy the College as a home, just like the Findlay Family did.
