Debra Chalmers DSNU

Debra is a British medium living in the north-east of England.  She has been able to sense and feel the spirit world for as long as she can remember and feels spirit have always been part of her world.  She first became involved with the Spiritualist Church in the early 1990s and this would prove to be life changing for her.

Before becoming a full-time medium her background was in nursing, management and leadership, and she has a first and Master’s degree in Nursing and Public Health.  Debra as a young nurse would often see and sense spirit as people were getting ready to transition to the spirit world. Later she felt an overwhelming urge from the spirit world to dedicate herself to working full time for spirit and has never looked back. She is a firm believer that we all have a different path to walk and we must embrace our authentic energy and pathway, letting the world see our own true light and following what is right for us.

Debra is particularly passionate about teaching and believes we can all feel the magic and power of spirit if we give ourselves permission to believe in ourselves and be free in our own expression.  For her there is joy in empowering others and she loves to work in new and dynamic ways to meets the needs of the group –  liberating them to be the best they can be to reach their full potential in a safe, caring environment.

Upon reflection she feels her entire career has always been about putting people at the centre of all she does and she loves to meet new people. She is a firm believer in knowing it is not about perfection but it is about being real.
